We have 2 permanent roles available for ServiceNow Analysts for our Calgary based client.

The ServiceNow Analyst position is responsible for the design, development, administration, support, upgrade, troubleshooting and documentation of the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow Analyst works closely with IT and business clients to understand business needs and applicable policies, develop requirements, and assist with designing, developing, configuring, coding, implementing, managing and maintaining robust solutions that meet these needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ServiceNow tasks including but not limited to administration, requirements definition, configuration, integration, upgrades, documentation, and custom application development
  • Understands system interdependencies and collaborates with teams accordingly
  • Develop, maintain, and execute dashboards and reports
  • Ensure system operation meets performance targets
  • Create and maintain system design and operations documentation
  • Troubleshoot problems and implement solutions that may require coordination of other groups, including vendors
  • Build out and develop internal processes that interface with processes of other technical teams and further support excellence
  • Research new ServiceNow features and unused module functionality to drive platform expansion and adoption
  • Evaluate and improve processes through the implementation of ITIL and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with ITS leadership to prioritize and execute ServiceNow improvements


  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Technology or similar
  • Knowledge of multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g. incident, problem, change, SLA, service catalog)
  • Certified Application Developer or Administrator or relevant experience preferred
  • ServiceNow certification preferred
  • Business Analysis, Project Management an asset
  • Eight years of IT experience, with at least three years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, administration and deployment
  • Five+ years of administration and development in an enterprise environment
  • Systems analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience with all aspects of the SDLC
  • Experience using Scrum or Agile methodologies
  • Experience with ITIL framework
  • Experience with change management standards and industry best practices
  • Excellent issue management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with internal clients and vendors
  • Adaptable to change with ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong multi-tasking, logistics and organizational capabilities
  • Multi-system integration process automation and orchestration an asset
  • DevOps experience preferred
